Good Morning …
As I sit here reflecting on the last few months, it would be so cliche-like to say some of the words rolling through my mind.
If you are close to my age, you may remember the Christian-country-comedian Jerry Clower who hailed from Yazoo, Mississippi. I am re-reading his 1975 book, Ain’t God Good.
I know God has plans and prosperity around the corner for me. I say, chickens scratch and eat in the same spot, then crow about it. Jerry Clower in his book said, “The Lord is not interested in ,what you used to do but what you’re going to do from today on. And I’m waiting to get it on.”
It is no secret what God can do. What will you do today that may be better than what you do tomorrow? I just texted my grandsons and told them to do something remarkable today. Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3:4-5 “The Lord makes us feel sure that you are doing and will continue to do the things we told you.”
May the Lord lead your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s patience.
God has blessed me with such a wonderful cousin. I pray he will soon heal you.
